The staff was friendly and ready to assist in finding a good Mexican food resturant. The room was very clean and you could not get a better value for your money. We were so impressed that we are going to book a family get to gether in Sept.
There was nothing I did not like.
Pool/Spa closed, hair on the mirror in the bathroom, hair still in the shower, red koolaid from the last guest dried on the nightstand.
From the moment we walked in the front door the staff were ready to not only greet us, but to go out of their way to ensure our every request/need was taken care of in a very friendly and polite way. Their attitude appeared to rub off on every guest. This was noticed when everyone in the lobby or other "common areas", at any time, were equally as friendly to other guests. The room we had, which I understand was a typical room, was very clean, quiet and quite large, plus it had a bonus feature for us - a wonderful view of the mountain range in this area of Arizona.
The night we stayed the temperatures dropped to 23 degrees with a strong, cold wind, which was apparently very unusual for this area. As a result, the room could have used an additional blanket (burrr :o)
We had been on the road for almost a month. This place felt like home. We had real glass dishes and a coffee mug for breakfast. Wow. Felt great! All the other hotels had us use Styrofoam and plastic. We were greeted with a beverage of our choice and music during happy our. All of this was a +
We enjoyed the chat in the lounge during happy hour. Overall, we appreciated the service and accomodations at the hotel.
Nothing to do with the hotel, but the weather could have been better.
Really liked this place. Will stay there again.
Nothing except maybe hottub closed.
We were amazed about the price, we stayed for 2 days and some of our friends extend their stay because of the very reasonable charges.
They had a very good breakfast included. We were there on the weekend so we were unable to try their restaurant as it was closed. The breakfast lady, Mona, was very friendly. We felt comfortable and welcomed at the Sun Canyon Inn!
Awesome detail orrinated staff and it was a very comfortable hotel to stay at.
Location was great near lots of interesting historic attractions and terrific value with a cooked breakfast included, much better than the chain hotels. Very comfortable and clean with friendly caring staff and roomy suites with all the extra trimmings like a safe, fridge, microwave etc. you don't always get anymore. We were so comfortable, stayed an extra night.
I was very impressed with how kind and helpful the staff were. They greeted us and gave us a coupon for a complimentary drink during their happy hour. The continental breakfast wasn't your typical breakfast. They made eggs to your order along with bacon, sausage or ham and potatoes. All free of charge. They also helped us find literature on sights we wanted to see. It was a very relaxing stay. They made us feel important and that we mattered.
Friendly staff, very-good room, great breakfast, awesome internet.
Quiet...room was nice.
Took too long to check in and just as long to check out!
They switch my room without a problem and always have coffee 24 hours a day
To expense for an advage hotel, every clean, great employee but not worth what they charge
I don't know how they can call room #305 a suite. A suite consists of two rooms, a bedroom and a separate sitting room. This was one room, very crowded with too much furniture.
